About Me

Shortly after moving back to Halifax I met my future wife Angela at the iconic Lower Deck Pub in Halifax, now moving forward many years later you will no longer find us at the lower deck, but at hockey rinks, baseball fields, and dance classes with our two children Keltin and Kailee and I can’t forget our dog Maddie.

Now, after fifteen years working in the financial services industry, when you meet with me you can have confidence that you and your family will feel valued. I treat all client’s the way I would want my family to be treated during major financial decisions, with open communication, transparency and respect.

My specialty is very simple, truly listening to your needs and earning your trust. When we first meet, it’s important for both you and I to have a clear understanding of what your goals are. I have many different mortgage solutions to choose from and I want to make sure my recommendations have a clear path to meet your goals.

Every client comes with their own unique story, from first time home buyer, self-employed business owner, new build, home improvement project, debt consolidation to free up cash flow, or welcoming new Canadians to the country. Whatever your story is, I am dedicated to making your experience unique to you and to ensure it is the best decision for your family or your business.

I was born and raised in a small community in Cape Breton, NS where your family, being a good neighbor, and cultural traditions mean everything. After university, I moved to Alberta, like many other Nova Scotians, to start my career. I enjoyed my time in Alberta, made many great friends that I still have today. Having the life experience in Alberta gave me many opportunities to grow my knowledge in the financial industry. After seven years in Alberta, it never felt like home and inside I was missing part of me: the maritime lifestyle and family.
